Asterix x leeds

We had the pleasure of working with the iconic comic Asterix, creating a mini street art trail in Leeds led by frank watson [@quitefrankly.studios]

The trail was created in collaboration with book publisher, little brown for the release of the new book 'Asterix and the White Iris' [the 40th title in the series] which could be picked up from one of the artwork locations - Ok Comics.

we loved being able to work with such iconic characters, translating them onto the streets of leeds. There’s a nice intersection between street art and comic culture; there's the raw and authentic nature of art painted on the streets fused with the timeless charm of Asterix as a comic which we've loved playing around with. Hopefully it brought a few smiles to people's faces whether they're lifelong Asterix fans or new to the comic.
