ARTIST– jerome davenport

Jerome Davenport painted this huge nature based mural titled “the keeper and the catcher” for bank street art festival in vastervik, sweden.

Inspired for my love of bees, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to hasse moreau during the project and he kindly took us to his honey farm where we were taugh in-depth about the hive and all its inhabitants. I’m highly allergic but it was worth it. Two things I learnt, don’t paint honeycomb and flywire over corrugated walls!

This was a special project, which was immportalised in the form of a documentary titled “spray” directed by James mcclean which was an Official Selection at the British Documentary Film Festival 2020. Check it out below.
