We’ve teamed up again with the legends at PL for a beer collab that will see sales from cans donated to the ‘No More Blank Walls Fund’ – an ongoing initiative which will deliver public art installations for local communities across Australia in need of revitalisation, while fostering opportunities from local to international level.
First up is UK based artist, Nerone for the brand-new Raspberry and Lemon Sour beer. Nerone’s fluid lines and fresh neon pallet are directly inspired by ‘the energy and vivid atmosphere of the street’, channelling the vibrant nightlife of London, Paris, and Bordeaux.
His works promote an underlying message of positivity, which, in light of recent events, is something we can all get around.
The Nerone clad sour is Pirate Life’s fifth ‘Artist Series’ release as a brewery and the first in conjunction with Blank Walls – a partnership both parties are determined to nurture.

The collaboration with Pirate Life will provide artists with a platform to reach new audiences, expanding the reach of their work on a global scale, as well as provide the opportunity to travel and be involved in ‘No More Blank Walls’ Street Art Festivals.
These limited-edition tins denote a well-established love of the arts for PL and this is just the beginning. We’ll be on the lookout for blank walls that need a splash of colour across Australia, so if you know of a community that could really benefit from this initiative, please let us know!

The No. 6 spot in Pirate Life’s 'Artist Series' and No. 2 of the BW collab, features work from UK based illustrator and good mate of ours, Mr Christa...and that's not all! Inside the tin you'll find a 10% Belgian Dark Ale inspired by legendary Aussie homebrewer, Luke Beard
The design fits perfectly with this release, and was created using some epic printing techniques to ensure the coloured highlights pop!
We collaborated with Mr Christa when he was in Australia for our launch event back in 2019, sponsored by Pirate Life. Chris painted an epic banner for the guys on the night, so this one is even more special because of that. Chris is a graphic designer turned illustrator, which adds another level of sophistication to his style. The attention to detail and crisp, clean lines are what set’s this legend apart from the rest and we’re stoked on how this brew has turned out!
