Sioux Tempestt’s mural is entitled “Rise”, and her artwork invites people to gather and celebrate their shared identity and values, while taking on a deeper meaning as it extends beyond people to the land itself.
Sioux has used a limited colour palette, taking inspiration from nature, linking the site with the nearby natural surroundings of the area. Assisted by Tessa Dorotich.

Jade’s mural entitled “Doondalup / The Lake That Glistens” is a visual representation of the unseen underground lake systems that run from Perth to Joondalup.
This underground system of lakes is a keystone of Perth’s ecosystem. It surfaces every so often to form wetlands such as Doondalup / Lake Joondalup and Galup / Lake Monger.
The Noongar people have lived alongside these wetlands for millennia, flourishing off the ecosystem they provide.

Cale’s artwork, “LEARNING & GROWING” embraces the simple, everyday task of always learning.
Whether it is the interest given to others to understand, research through reading and experiences, history, or learning through the want and need to improve, all aspects and styles of learning are extremely important.
